Lauren, Founder of Siren Rising
Hi, I’m Lauren
I am an intuitive psychic-medium and energy healer who has always had an affinity for everything weird (read: spooky). My gifts enable me to communicate directly with those who know you best — your spirit guides, angels, and ancestors.
I receive information through spirit communicating telepathically, through visions and imagery, through “knowing,” and through the emotional energies that come through. spirit and i utilize all of these to reveal the most dialed in message for you possible.
I’ve connected with many energies — angels, ancestors, nature, animals, houses (yes, houses), gods and goddesses, fairies, & more. And, I’m looking forward to connecting with your guides as well.
I am an Aquarius sun who has spent over a decade in the corporate world. I currently live in brooklyn, NY with my two (MISCHIEVOUS, but adorable) cats. I love listening to 90’s/00’s music, dancing in my apartment, animals, matcha lattes, making people laugh, lifting heavy weights at the gym, joking with spirit, great hair days, a good glass of red wine, and the magic of the universe.
For the last five years I have been on a tremendous journey navigating my own healing and personal growth. This journey included nurturing both the rediscovering of myself as well as the rediscovering of my intuitive gifts. I have experienced first hand how transformative and impactful energy work and connection with spirit can be.
I am a graduate of ‘the Spiritual Life Upgrade’. This is a phenomenal mentorship program that not only helped launch the journey of uncovering the magic of myself and the universe, but also helped educate me on the vast patriarchal, colonial structures that shape our society — a subject I continue to educate myself on, and one I believe is integral to incorporating in my support of others.
In 2020, I also gained certification in Reiki Level 1 and Reiki Level 2. While I do not practice Reiki or utilize the modality in my sessions, I would be remiss not to mention the experience and certification.
I have also worked with phenomenal mentors over the years, notably with Lindsay TassÉ, an immensely special energy healer (and Licensed Psychotherapist), since 2019. I credit her for creating a safe space that supported and embraced me on my personal (and magical) journey.
And now I share my passion and gifts with others as they navigate their own journeys.
why siren rising?
Sirens are ancient mythical beings mankind has written about for centuries caracterizing them as dangerous creatures known to lure men to their death while out at sea.
Despite a plethora of ancient texts and imagery, Sirens are highly misunderstood. In fact, Sirens are beings deeply devoted to the protection of Earth, namely, the ocean and the lifeforms that call the ocean home. A Siren’s life purpose was not only to protect the ocean it’s inhabitants, but also to remind mankind the need for harmony between them and the sea. They use enchanting, melodious language to remind men of what had been long forgotten — mankind’s duty to a loving, reciprocal relationship with the sea and all sea creatures.
Above all, Sirens have a deep love for all beings.
This is an energy I connect with immensely. My hope is that through Siren Rising I am able to continue this legacy in caring for Earth’s inhabitants. My hope is that I can help lift the veil to reconnect you to your most empowered self.
